When and Where to Use Heat-Resistant Spray Paint

For painting boilers, barbecues, furnaces, heaters, pipes, and any other equipment subjected to high temperatures, use high temperature spray paint.Based on silicone resin, heat-resistant spray paint are available as aerosols. A 400 ml can’s worth of contents will cover about 1.5 square meters.

The heat resistant spray paint provides a smooth, attractive finish when applied to various hot surfaces, such as stoves and ovens. Heat resistance is a feature of the corrosion-resistant coatings. The aerosol paints can resist temperatures as high as 800°C/1470°F.

The surface beneath will not be shielded from fire or significant damage by the high-temperature lacquers, despite the fact that they do not reduce at high temperatures. Consequently, its purpose is to offer an insulating layer on different surfaces including stoves and ovens.

The paint is based on silicone resin and is heat resistant to 800oC (1470oF)

Understand how high-temperature spraying works.

High temperature spraying technology is a surface treatment technique that creates a coating of spray material on the parts’ surface after the material is atomized by a high-speed air flow and is melted. The components are then purified and made rougher. This crucial stage of coating formation occurs when the sprayed alloy particles, which have been heated to accelerate them, strike the surface of the base material. The molten or highly plastic powder particles impact the base material and interact with the substrate at a specific flying speed.

Advice about using spray paint

Keep spray mist from getting on the item and the surrounding environment. It is advised to use a piece of card as a mask when painting small areas, with the hole cut slightly larger than the area that needs to be sprayed. Hold the mask one to two centimeters away from the surface. This technique brings the majority of the spray mist under control. It suggests masking off areas that won’t be lacquered in order to shield the surrounding area from spray mist.

The cans should be kept in room temperature.

The ideal temperature range is +10°C to +25°C with a maximum air humidity of 60%.

Keep in a dry place. Keep out of the direct sun and other heat sources. Use exclusively in arid weather in places protected from the wind, and in well-ventilated rooms. Follow the warning texts on the labels!

Heat resistant spray paints are ideal for use on objects that are exposed to high temperatures, such as engines, exhaust systems, barbecues, stoves, fireplaces, boilers, radiators, and chimeneas
