Life Time pickleball is home to the largest pickleball community in the country
A new study shows that the U.S. pickleball community is growing at a rapid rate. There are more than 4.8 million players, and that number is continuing to grow. According to the Sports & Fitness Industry Association’s 2022 Topline Participation Report, the number of players is growing at an annual rate of nearly 39 percent. Youth participation is on the rise, as is the number of women playing the sport.
There are several reasons why picking up pickleball is a great sport for anyone. First of all, the game is a great way to stay fit. It is low-impact on your body, requiring only moderate physical activity. It’s not as demanding as tennis, and the court is relatively small, making it easier for you to move around. It also emphasizes accuracy, making it a great cardiovascular exercise. You’ll also burn hundreds of calories playing pickleball.
Life Time also plans to expand its pickleball programming to other locations. The company’s first pickleball facility opened in Bloomington, Minn., last summer, and plans to expand the sport nationwide in the next few years. The facility has five competitive pickleball courts and a spectator area for pickleball tournaments. The Life Time pickleball center is also planning to build a full bar and lounge area later this year. The goal is to make LifeTime a hub for pickleball events and attract the best players to Minnesota.
The largest pickleball community in the country is located at Life Time Pickleball, which offers lighted pickleball courts, clinics, and online groups. The game is not only fun, but it also fosters a strong sense of community among players. During summer months, lighted courts are packed with 30 and 40-year-old players. Moreover, players also meet friends, form relationships, and even romances.
