Discover the Best Boutique Hotels in South Florida

Whether you’re visiting for a holiday or vacation, there are some amazing boutique hotels in South Florida. You’ll get a much more personal experience when you stay at these places.

These hotels offer unique amenities like pools, swanky rooftops and more that make them stand out from the rest. They also offer excellent customer service so you’ll feel at home.

The Plymouth South Beach

With an Art Deco facade and a slew of amenities, The Plymouth is a gem in the heart of South Beach. Tucked around the corner from Collins Avenue, it’s a short walk to the beach and is home to the renowned Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar & Grill (the hotel also partners with Orange Blossom for breakfast).

The interiors of The Plymouth were completely renovated in late 2016. Designer Fernando Santangelo took the old-fashioned Art Moderne building’s boxy exterior and made it feel fresh and relevant by blending vintage furnishings and Restoration Hardware into the design.

Throughout the property, guests will find everything from a playful bamboo bar and the excellent Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar & Grill to a lovely outdoor pool. A private beach area is also available for guests.

Guest rooms are sophisticated and offer custom designs by Fernando Santangelo with Restoration Hardware furnishings. These feature button-tufted headboards, bar carts and subway-tiled bathrooms with walk-in rainfall showers.

The Venezia

If you’re looking for a quiet retreat with a classic Florida vibe, then The Venezia is a great choice. It’s located in a historic building and offers a 24-hour reception, luggage storage and a concierge.

The hotel also has a restaurant on site that serves local dishes. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy a meal with friends or family.

Venice Beach, the Shark Tooth Capital of the World is a short drive away and there are many attractions to explore in the area.

Aside from the rooms, the hotel has a restaurant, a bar and a fitness center. It is also pet-friendly and provides a free hot breakfast daily.

Avalon Hotel

With a prime location on world-famous Ocean Drive, the Avalon Hotel provides an intimate getaway for travelers looking to soak up the ambiance of South Florida. The property offers a variety of amenities for guests, including free WiFi and an on-site restaurant.

Designed with an emphasis on comfort, the guest rooms at the Avalon Hotel are equipped with coffee/tea makers, minibars and TVs. Some even offer air conditioning.

The property’s dining options include Chi Chi, where guests can enjoy a vibrant and spirited take on delicious real ingredients and authentic West Coast cuisine. There’s also a curated wine list and cocktails.

The Avalon Hotel also offers a fitness centre and massage services. Guests can also join a weekend wellness class or take a guided hike.

The Miami Beach EDITION

A micro-city on the water, it features 294 guest rooms and suites, a pair of pools facing the ocean, an outdoor movie theatre, bowling alley, ice skating rink, high-tech fitness center, a hip nightclub, several bars, a gourmet marketplace, and a restaurant developed by Michelin-starred chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten.
